Attended a lenten retreat/seminar at Holy Transfiguration GOC #marietta yesterday featuring Dr. Eve Tibbs. I highly recommend seeing her in person. Her format left a lot of room for Q&A. I want to commend Fr. Panayiotis Papageorgiou, Fr. John Brown, and Fr. Michael Tishel for several key factors to the success of this day:
1) They brought in an accomplished professor who teaches at renowned Fuller Theological Seminary,
2) They gave her and the attendees the space to discuss some interesting and somewhat esoteric ideas, and
3) They set an environment that was geared toward openness and hospitality.
Well done from everyone.
